Shivang is a Research and Devlopment Engineer in the Quriosity team, focusing on multimode quantum coherent communications, with an emphasis on parameter estimation with a digital signal processing (DSP)-based continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CV-QKD) system. He completed his PhD in quantum optics and information from CNRS laboratory PhLAM in 2024 under the supervision of Mikhail Kolobov and Dmitri Horoshko. During his PhD, Shivang researched quantum temporal imaging for the project ‘Quantum information and communication with high-dimensional encoding (QuICHE), Horizon 2020’. Prior to this, Shivang investigated the theoretical performance of multipartite quantum communication protocols in noisy quantum networks (Project OPTIQUTE), analyzed single-photon source statistics, and devised a quantum secret sharing protocol.
