Jan received a Masters degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Technical University of Munich and the Ludwigs-Maximilians University in 2023 and another in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge in 2022. He is working under supervision from Cambyse Rouzé and co-supervision of Omar Fawzi on analytic and algorithmic approaches to strong data processing in complex quantum systems. In particular establishing such inequalities for physical systems to study quantum many-body thermalization. His general academic interest lie in the intersection of (infinite dimensional) analysis and quantum theory with applications to mathematical statistical physics and quantum information theory. His PhD grant is funded by IP Paris.
